We welcome students from all backgrounds, cultures and nationalities. As a minimum, applicants should have: 1. a good honours degree or equivalent; 2. a willingness to learn, develop and change. Most International Business Management students are arts, humanities, technology or science graduates, who received their honours in the previous three years. Some may have limited work experience but possess specific knowledge or skills that they also bring to the course.

Significant post-graduation and/or relevant work experience on which the learning process should build, normally the experience required will be at least two years

English language requirement of at least IELTS level 6.5 or TOEFL 610 and meeting UK Visa requirements for international students
All applicants will be interviewed prior to acceptance on to the programme. The aim of the interview process is to ensure that students will have a positive impact on the learning experience of those on the journey with them.

If you have not studied business or management before, don’t worry: you will undertake a module on the fundamental principles of business as part of your programme. Mature students with relevant managerial experience but with limited educational qualifications will be considered and all applications are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Regents University London: International Business
We also welcome applications from candidates who do not meet the essential entry criteria outlined above. In order to be accepted for exceptional entry, you must: Hold a minimum of two years’ relevant work experience. Provide a 1,000-word personal statement outlining your reasons for applying, and how your previous experience is of relevance to the programme you are applying for. East London: MBA with Placement
As an inclusive university, we recognise that applicants who have been out of education for some time may not have the formal qualifications usually required for entry to a course. We welcome applications from those who can demonstrate their enthusiasm and commitment to study and have the relevant life/work experience that equips them to succeed on the course. We will assess this from the information provided in your application – in particular your personal statement - to help us decide on your eligibility for the course.
West London: International Business Management
You should have an honours degree (2:2 or above) from a UK university or equivalent. We may also offer you a place based on relevant experience or training, normally from within the work environment. All applications are considered individually.

The University of Surrey recognises that many students enter their higher education course with valuable knowledge and skills developed through a range of professional, vocational and community contexts. If this applies to you, a process called recognition of prior learning (RPL) may allow you to enter your course at a point appropriate to your previous learning and experience, or to join the start of a course without the formal entry requirements. This means that you may be exempt from certain elements of study in the course for which you have applied and be awarded credit based on your previous qualifications/experience.
A 2:2 with honours in any discipline from a recognised university. We do consider all applications where there is evidence of exceptional performance in modules relevant to the programme of study, significant relevant work experience or professional qualifications.

If you lack the formal academic qualifications needed to enter a postgraduate or post-experience degree, there are several alternative routes to follow - some based on experience
Oxford Brookes: Masters in Management
A minimum of a second class honours degree (2:2) in any academic discipline, or equivalent overseas degree from a recognised institution or equivalent professional or other qualification. Applicants who possess a diploma rather than a good degree may be eligible for entry provided they have compensatory work experience and can demonstrate career development. This course attracts students from a wide range of backgrounds and nationalities. Applications are welcome from those in work and seeking continuing professional development.
Solent: Management Msc
An honours degree at 2:2 or higher; alternatively, an equivalent professional qualification and/or evidence of managerial experience will be considered.We welcome applicants from a diverse range of backgrounds. Applicants who are not in possession of the minimum entry requirements but are able to demonstrate aptitude, enthusiasm and motivation will be considered on an individual basis and may be admitted subject to satisfactory interview and/or portfolio. Exemptions from modules may be applied where it can be demonstrated within professional experience and previous qualifications.
